Canada's Padurariu speaks after WAG eighth subdivision qualifications
DOHA: Comments from Anne-Marie Padurariu of Canada after the eighth subdivision of the women’s qualifications at Aspire Dome on Sunday.
On the Canadian team’s performance (first in the subdivision, ranked third third after eight of 11 subdivisions).
Overall it was pretty good, but there is always a room for improvement. I think I did what I could, and the team did what they could. We finished really strong.
On her good performance on balance beam (on which, after eight of 11 subdivisions, she ranked fifth.
I am glad that I was able to hit. It is my first time in the World Championships, but I was able to stay on the beam, which is big for everyone. If we make the team final, I will always have time to focus again and do my job.
