Great Britain’s Whitlock speaks after ninth subdivision of MAG qualifications
DOHA: Comments from Great Britain’s Max Whitlock after the ninth subdivision of men’s qualifications at Aspire Dome on Friday.
On improvements the British team, which ranked fourth after nine of 10 subdivisions, will need to make for the team final.
I think it’s just the little bits, really. If you look at it, we’ve got no pressure at all. It’s always a hard job. There are such good nations out there that we’re going against. We need to give it our all and do our big start (difficulty) scores. That is the attitude we need to have.
Any sort of nervous little hand placements and all the stuff like that — do that on each piece and that’s six-tenths off already. Add that for each individual and it comes up to a lot of marks. We’re really looking forward to it. Everyone knows what they need to do.
